Concept Design and Art Direction

Attention was given to strategic arrangement of visual elements to create eye-catching layouts that are easy to navigate. Our approach to typography emphasised a clear hierarchy of information, enhancing readability and engagement.

DTP Artwork and Graphics
Impactful creation of DTP artwork, such as maps, graphs, infographics and icons, that supports the narrative and provides a clear, accessible overview of the topics.

Photo retouching
Extensive photo editing performed to improve visual quality, ensure consistency in colour cast and adjust technical qualities to ensure a smooth pre-press process.

Pre-press, Production and Print Management
We meticulously prepared all volumes in the series, as well as accompanying design products, for print. This included quality control checks of printer proofs and close collaboration with print partners to ensure timely delivery.

Online Marketing
Design support given for web banners, social media tiles, save-the date, invites, as well as adverts for publishing across social and digital media.



Digital Outputs
Converted print design files to web-optimised PDFs for inclusion on branded USB cards to extend the reach of these invaluable species identification field guides.
Book Launch Support
Graphic design support for hybrid book launch – including pull-up banners, posters, brochures, banner wall, programme of events and even t-shirts for staff at in-person event as well as digital backgrounds for online webinar.
